A tradition unlike any other! The Commissioner's Kiss of Death... As you will soon read, one lucky Owner has been crowned pre-season champion. That doens't carry with it the same weight that a true championship does, as we've all come to learn.
Over the past 7 years, the pre-season championship prediction has resulted in the following outcomes:

2022: Alex Gertz (Last Place! KOD)
2021: Chris Gertz (7th Place)
2020: Joe Licher (4th Place)

Well, well, well... what do we have here? The committee is always willing to take a chance, and they're doing so by attempting to plummet this once juggernaut to last place. That said, it's probably time we turn our attention away from the charity case (Gertz 2023 Championship) and back to a very hungry, small man. What will 2024 hold? A return to glory or a disappointment unlike anything this club has experienced? Tune in!

What's brewing in "Bill-ville" (or is it Will? I don't know!) these days? An earth-shattering rule change? A 30 page screenplay on defensive scoring? A dedicated opposition to most if not all trades that don't involve him? Oh, what's missing? Championship caliber team management. It's time for this squad to focus on what matters and get back to what made Billy2Rings so special. We're all watching. There's something in the air in 2024... look out!

Little Brother had his moment. Yeah yeah. A heartbreaking finish to 2023 will not deter this group. You can already tell the ownership team is locked in... every move is calculated and you better believe they will leave Austin with a top tier team that will only get better throughout the season. Only question is if they can compete with other top tier Owners for a title in 2024.

Championship... Marriage... An internationl move... truly a fairytale 2023-2024 Season for the League Bad Boy! As we all know this team and ownership group has battled hard over the years. Overcoming adversity and letting us all know about it along the way. Not saying 2024 will be a snooze-fest, but don't look for the 2024 version of this squad to climb Everest again!

Hate to say it, but there's something tell us this team is due for a run. Will they make it all the way to the top? Lord, please, no. Sources are telling us that preparation is at an all time high, criticism will not effect the Front Office in 2024, and sights are set on that ever elusive trophy...

You might ask yourself... why? He finished last in a very un-impressive fashion last year... Well... Tom is last in the Pre-Season Power Rankings, we all know that. However, don't let 2023 fool you. One off year will not set the tone for how certain owners in this league operate. Some will respond. Some will learn. High hopes for this beer mile running, leotard wearing, loveable loser!

Ah yes, it is indeed round 12... just about 2 days from when you're reading this in the comfort of a "Thursday Evening of Draft Weekend" druken stuper. Check the board... Strokin My Ditka still refusing to pick a QB? Sounds about right. Refusing to adapt doesn't get you far... lesson learned? Probably not. Championship secured, look for this ownership group to continue to coast into 2024.

Some might start to wonder "what the fuck is this committee smoking...". Probably not what Spears is. Who cares, we need something to impress us! Yeah, he might be shooting in the 80s rather consistently, but will that smooth, smooth swing translate to the gridiron in 2024? Sources say no, but the minute he locks in on draft day I'm sure we'll all be convinced otherwise.

Who knows... many years removed from a Championship and quite honestly nothing impressive in between has to have you wondering if this once elite ownership group is really looking to add to their trophy case. May the heat from the committee be forever in your favor...

Again... it's a really tough read. Not consistent in their losing ways of a few years ago, but not rising to the occassion against the best of the best. A once popular pick for the committee in the pre-season has lost it's mojo. While predicted to sneak in to the playoffs, we're all hopeful this squad shocks the world in 2024.

A tradtion unlike any other. Sources say the committee members were visibly emotional as they wrote their thoughts and submitted this last place ranking for the 2024 season. It brings tears to all of our eyes. Now... barring a complete draft disaster (incoming) or continued support of Alec's chase for a championship (he's not done yet, guys!)... Maybe... justttttt maybe, Tom can shock us all and do just a little more than dominating the regular season. Cause we all know where wins matter...
